You might call it arrogant for any 25-year-old to think he had a shot at winning a U.S. House seat – especially as an independent, without the support of either major party, and with no family fortune or wealthy patron. But I prefer to say that I ran to represent Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District in 2014 out of idealism, not arrogance.
